The short version
This site has no accounts, no login, no newsletter and no tracking cookies of our own. We do not ask for your name, address, income, credit score or any other personal detail, and there is no form here that would let you give them to us.
What we record when you click an application link
Outbound links to issuer application pages pass through a redirect on this domain. When you follow one we record: the card and issuer the link was for, the page you clicked it from, the destination, the time, your country as reported by our edge network, and the hostname of the referring site if there was one.
We deliberately do not record your IP address, your user agent string, or any cookie or identifier that would let us recognise you again. The records are counts, not profiles: they tell us that a page sent some number of people to an issuer, which is what we need in order to approach that issuer about a referral arrangement. They cannot tell us, or anyone else, that you clicked anything.
Server logs
The site is served by Cloudflare, which processes requests on our behalf and retains standard network logs including IP addresses for a limited period for security and abuse prevention. That processing is covered by Cloudflare's privacy policy. We do not combine those logs with the click records above.
Advertising
This site carries third-party display advertising. Ad vendors, including Google, may set cookies or use similar technologies to serve and measure ads, and may personalise advertising based on your prior visits to this and other sites. You can opt out of personalised Google advertising at Google Ads Settings, and opt out of personalisation by many other vendors at aboutads.info. Where required by law, these vendors are loaded only after consent.
Links to issuers
Once you follow a link to an issuer, you are on their site under their privacy policy, not ours. We have no visibility into what happens there, including whether you applied for anything.
Your rights
Because we hold no information that identifies you, there is normally nothing for us to retrieve or erase on request. If you believe we hold something about you, email privacy@creditcardb.com and we will look.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, the updated version will be posted here with a new date.
